PlantWorks is looking for a diligent individual to join our manufacturing team to support its growing business. We are looking for a hard-working production operative to assist in the manufacturing process plant growth enhancing products, reporting directly to a Production Manager. The production operative’s responsibilities include preparing and operating the industrial mixing machines, some of which produce dust – PPE will be provided, strictly following health and safety guidelines. A forklift licence is preferable, but training will be available for the correct applicant. The applicant may also be asked to help in other productions areas, including laboratories and greenhouses.

Previous factory/warehouse/production experience is preferred but not essential.

The successful applicant should be forward-thinking, diligent, able to work alone and within a team and able to work to instruction whilst complying with the company’s health and safety procedures. Physical fitness required to perform the inherent duties of the role.

Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, 1h lunch
Possible start: Immediate.
Salary: starting from £20,000 per annum depending on experience; salary review + company’s bonus after successful completion of Company Training Programme and receiving a permanent contract.
Type of contract: Temporary going to permanent.

Job responsibilities:
– Operating product mixing machines.
– Updating product daily.
– Keeping working place and warehouse clean.
– Possible occasional help in other areas.
